Scouting was the perfect place to grow from boy to man,
Stop asking so much from adults, start doing all I can.

I found that leadership and planning aren't as easy as they seem,
Sometimes I thought that I'd just quit, and give up on my dream.

But somehow you were always there, to counsel and advise--
When one of my decisions was anything but wise.

Now here I stand before you, a full-fledged Eagle Scout.
If not for you, I wouldn't be . . .Of that there is no doubt.

How many times I've come to you, to aid with some disaster,
Thank you does not say enough, so--
"I salute you, my Scoutmaster".
